AutoMech
Run the whole repair shop from one screen.
Live demo launching soon at garage.blaketrix.com

The problem
Most independent repair shops run on a whiteboard for jobs, a spreadsheet for parts, a paper invoice book and a group chat with the mechanics. Nobody can see what’s actually happening on the floor. Parts run out mid-job, customers ring to ask if the car is ready, and invoices get chased for weeks.
What we built
AutoMech puts the whole shop in one place, and everyone gets their own view of it. The owner sees the business, mechanics see their jobs, vendors see their purchase orders, and customers see their car.

Features
What it does
- 01
Four portals
Admin, Mechanic, Vendor and Customer each get their own dashboard and navigation.
- 02
Bookings & quotes
Customers request work or a quote online. Admins schedule it, assign a mechanic and move it through configurable workflow stages. Appointment slots skip public holidays.
- 03
Invoicing & payments
Line items, discounts and tax, branded PDF quotes and invoices, and online payment through Stripe.
- 04
Parts inventory
Stock goes down as parts are used on a job, with low-stock alerts before you run out.
- 05
Vendor supply chain
Purchase orders, fulfilment tracking and downloadable POs for suppliers.
- 06
Mechanic timesheets
Hours logged against jobs, then reviewed by an admin.
- 07
Vehicle history
VINs, service records and vehicle health ratings for every customer car.
- 08
Real-time updates
In-app notifications, email and live chat over Laravel Reverb websockets.
